Good Chap of the Week 6: Hugh Laurie
I’m puzzled as to how Hugh has become such a sex symbol for American women. He doesn’t seem to arouse the same level of lust in British woman, perhaps because they remember him best as playing a variety of upper-class twits back in the ’80s in shows such as Blackadder and The Young Ones. Still, I find it cheering that the most fancied man in America is a not-obviously-handsome middle-aged Englishman.
